National Seminary of Our Lady of Lanka Receives Relic and Statue of St. Carlo Acutis
The National Seminary of Our Lady of Lanka was honored on 5th January 2026 with the reception of a hair relic of St. Carlo Acutis, made possible through the generosity of Rev. Fr. Will Conquer of the French Missionary Society of the Archdiocese of Monaco. This sacred relic brings a tangible connection to the life and holiness of the young saint, who has inspired countless faithful worldwide through his devotion to the Eucharist and his use of technology to spread the Gospel.
In addition to the relic, a lifesize statue of St. Carlo Acutis was enthroned in the seminary’s small chapel, providing the seminarians and visitors a visible reminder of his exemplary life of faith, humility, and love for Christ.
The seminary community expresses its deepest gratitude to all who contributed to making this possible, recognizing the profound spiritual significance of both the relic and the statue. These gifts serve as enduring inspirations for prayer, devotion, and imitation of St. Carlo’s saintly life.
St. Carlo Acutis, pray for us!
